Blast FC Soccer Academy

With over 50 state and regional cups, Blast FC is recognized as a soccer power house in Central Ohio and beyond. But while we are proud of our Club’s success, helping young players achieve their goals is still our priority. With over 25 years of experience, Blast FC will remain the benchmark of success for years to come.

  • More than 50 State Championships and the only Regional Champion in Central Ohio in 2009.

    • Our Girls' teams are directed by Mohamood Razack and compete in the Mid-Ohio Select Soccer League (MOSSL), Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League (BPYSL), Midwest Regional League (MRL) and the US Youth Soccer National League.

    Blast FC U14s - 2010 Mead Cup Finalists

    The U14 Girls were named Finalists in the Silver Division at the CUSA Mead Cup Tournament over Labor Day weekend after winning through a tough double overtime shoot-out in the semi-final round.

    Blast FC U11 Girls 2010 Mead Cup Five Star Semi-Finalists

    The U11 Girls took the title of Semi-Finalists at the Mead Cup, winning their group with 2 wins and a tie shutting out great teams from Carmel United Soccer Club in Indiana, Greater Toledo Futbol Club from Maumee, Ohio and Kings Soccer Academy from Wilder, Kentucky. The semi-final round was lost to a very talented team from Vadar-Michigan Soccer Club and sends the team into regular league play with a record of 10-1-1.

    Blast FC U11 Girls - 2010 Gahanna Fall Open Champions

    The U11 girls opened their tournament season in victory at the Gahanna Fall Open winning all four games with zero goals allowed.

    Blast U15s - 2010 USYSA Midwest Regional Finalist

    The trememdously successful season for the Blast came to an end in the Region II Championship Final against a quality JB Marine team. The girls went 3-1-1 in the Midwest Regional, winning their group and getting to the Finals despite four key injuries that limited substitution options. In the regional semifinal, the Blast dug deep to turn back KCFC Force 1 to nil. The lone goal on a nifty set piece. The victory propelled the Red into the Midwest Regional Final against JB Marine Wipke who was the only team to go undefeated and untied in the Region II Championships.

    Andrea (Gunner) Witte of the U17 Blast Selected Ohio South Youth Soccer Association's Female Young Referee of the Year

    Andrea (Gunner) Witte of the U17 Blast was selected as the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association's Female Young Referee of the Year. In addition, she carries a 4.2 GPA at Northridge High School.

    Emily Barrows of the U17 Blast was selected 1st Team All Mid-State League, 1st Team All Central District Div II, and 2nd Team All Ohio Div II. Emily carries a 3.9 GPA at Fisher Catholic High School.

    Erin Simmons of the U17 Blast was selected 1st Team All Ohio Division II, 1st Team All Central District Division II, and 1st Team All Mid State League while leading her high school of Columbus Academy to a District Final.

    Libby Spragg of the U17 Blast led her Findlay High School Team to a District Final and carries a 3.7 GPA.

    Shauni Kerkhoff of the U17 Blast is varsity captain of Olentangy Orange High School. Shauni earned 1st Team All OCC honors and 2nd Team All District while carrying a 4.2 GPA.

    Katherine Glaser of the U17 Blast is Varsity Captain for Dublin Scioto High School and lead her team to the OCC Championship & District Final. Kat was 2nd Team All OCC, is a National Honor Society Member, and carries a 4.2 GPA.

    U17 Blast Girls Shine at the Disney Showcase in Orlando, FL

    The U17 Blast Girls got the 2011 new year started off right with four wins at the Disney Showcase in Orlando, FL outscoring their opponents 12-5 in the four matches and walking away with the hardware.

    Blast FC U16 Red wins during opening weekend of USYS National League

    Blast FC U16 Red notched their first win in the US Youth National League's opening weekend, taking down former Region I Champion VSA Heat (VA). Brittany Maisano scored the lone goal of the game in the 39th.
